And Quickens By The Day
This Isn't What God Planned For Us

There's Warfare From The East To West
And Childrens Lives Are Lost
Our Human Nature Fights For Peace
But Really, At What Cost?



I Finally Stopped On Channel Eight
A Common Daily Soap
But Quickly Realized There Too
That They Had Lost All Hope



The Story Line, I Briefly Caught
Evolved Around A Rape
The Man Proclaimed His Innocence
While Plotting His Escape



The T.V. Drama Proved His Guilt
Yet Justified It Too
I'm Sorry ~ But There's No Excuse
For Someone Hurting You



I Turned The T.V. Off Right Then
And Tried To Calm My Rage
I Wrestled With My Troubled Thoughts
Was Life On Its' Last Page?



What Happened To "Good Will Toward Man"
And ~ "Peace On Earth For All"
Had Hearts Of Mankind Changed So Much
This World Was Soon To Fall?



I Sat There In That Silent Room
And Contemplated This . . .
Regardless Of Chaotic Times
We All Have "HIS" Promise



There's Reasons For This Life We Live
It Echoes Through The Wind
And JESUS Reaches Out To Us
To All Of Us That Sinned



I Still Believe... That GOOD Will Reign
And In Gods' Wonderous Plan
That EVIL Will Be Overrun
And In The Hearts Of Man



"Peace On Earth" ~ Are Not Just Words
And "Good Will Towards All Men"
Was Heavens' Plan For All Of Us
~For All Of Gods' Children~
