MEMORIES

How can you
miss someone so much you've never even met;
Why do the
hours you spend alone bring feelings of regret?
It's hard
to tell the mind in time, the heart will soon mend too;
So, I wish
to share my memories and deepest thoughts with you.
I've loved a man I've never met and
now I never will;
I can't believe he's really gone;
I feel his presence still.
The love and power he generated
touched countless hearts like mine;
But I've always felt and always
will, that mine was first in line.
The memories that one stores up for
more than 20 years;
Helps brighten up the stormy days
and wash away the tears.
He wouldn't want to see us cry or
sad in any way;
Giving so much of himself to bring
us happiness each day.
A loving man, a gentle man; a man
we called "The King"
Brought more joy and happiness with
any song he chose to sing.
I'm sure that he was loved more
than he really ever knew;
For the ones who've loved him always
are the ones who love him still.
If you have truly been in love with
this man, as I;
ELVIS PRESLEY may be gone, but his
memory will never die!
