I'm Just An Old Waitress , 
What Else Would I Be ? 
" My Calling ~ Though Simple 
      Was Planned Just For Me ! 

My Childhood Was Awesome , 
My Memories . . . Sublime 
And , If I Just Could ? 
I Would Go Back In Time . 
 

My Parents Were Blessings , 
From Heaven Above 
They Took Us To Church 
And Taught Us "God's LOVE . 

I'd  Take Care Of  "Grandpa" , 
As He Grew Quite ill 
And Carry Him Water . . . 
So He'd Take His Pill . 

Those Years Passed Too Quickly , 
I Grew Up , And Wed 
Now Too Many Loved Ones , 
Are Sadly ,    Now Dead . 
 

With Kids Of My Own , 
"That Calling's"  Required ! 
At Least As  A  MOM , 
No Fear , You'll Get Fired ! 
 

That  "Calling"    To  "Serve" , 
     Has Come In Quite Handy ! 
From Breakfast ~ To ~ BedTime , 
They're My Sugar & Candy ! 

Along Lifes' Pathway , 
I  HAD  To Find Work .
And The "Pay~Check" I Earned ,
Was Just One More Perk !

The Friends That I've Met , 
And The Customers I Feed .
I Have Found In  "My Calling" , 
That Place . . . I'm In Need ! 
 

Not Everyones'  "CALLING" , 
Is Always Far Up . 
Sometimes . . .  It's Just "Serving", 
A Smile    And A Cup !

The " BIBLE " Has Taught Us , 
 In "Serving" Our LORD 
We Also  "Serve"  Others , 
That's How "Crowns" Are Stored !
 

My  "Calling" , Though Simple , 
GOD  Gave It To Me 
I'm Just An Old Waitress . 
WHAT  ELSE  WOULD  I  BE  ?

Holy Work, Not Because We Deserved It But 
Because That Was His Plan Long Before The 
World Began - To Show His Love And Kindness
